Thank you for stopping by my book blog. I’m a twenty-something girl living on the east coast of Scotland who loves many things including indie music, cinema, a good book with a cup of tea (of course), photography, collage, a good chat and lounging about my flat in my PJs.

I am terribly fussy when it comes to picking books to read. I can wonder around the library for half an hour only to leave with empty hands and a feeling of disappointment. I like modern books as I’m too lazy to decipher older writing styles (I did it for years at uni and have now retired from such things), I like books that are easy to get into and with characters and settings I can relate to (I have no imagination and couldn’t even get into Harry Potter). I don’t tend to like overly trashy books, chick lit or crime. I love books that can make me laugh, and/or are about somehow dysfunctional or alienated people and once I discover an author I like I read everything of theirs greedily and then feel bereft for anything to read. I love books, I love reading, but I have quite narrow tastes.
